UPDATE 4th Jan: Sadly, because of the ongoing situation with Covid-19 we have had to cancel this activity as it would go against the current recommendations for Tier 4 areas. We look forward to being able to restart our community activities as and when appropriate. In the meantime why not take a few minutes in the pocket park to look for early signs of spring as we look forward to recovery from the pandemic.
UPDATE: Given the Tier 4 restrictions imposed on London this activity is highly likely to be postponed. We will keep you updated as and when the Covid-19 situation changes.
Shake off the winter cold and help plant a hedge in the Fair Street pocket park. The hedge is being planted to help absorb pollutants from Tanner Street traffic and improving the air quality in the pocket park.
We are aiming to make all sessions Covid secure so will make hand sanitiser available to all participants. All equipment will be sanitised before use. Vinyl gloves will be available to wear underneath gardening gloves if you do not have your own gloves. We ask everyone to adhere to social-distancing to help keep everyone safe!
